Day Four - Oh Be Wise

With all of our getting of understanding and learning, how many of us are in control of what we do and how many of us feel no matter how hard we try, we can't "seem" to do those thing we know to be right? Everyone has weaknesses... this is normal, so don't feel down about it. Sure, you should feel bad, because these kind of feelings are there to help you correct the mistakes you make. It is normal to mess up, to trip, to fall down, get tired, etc. When we do, we feel bad and have the tendency to get mad at ourselves. Well, even this could be our weakness... getting mad at ourselves and living in regret, but you don't have to feel this way. Remember, ALL of us make mistakes and have the "temptation" to feel like failures, but the only time you can really fail is to die not trying. Life is all about progressing not winning the race, getting up each time we fall. Again, opposition in all things helps us grow. Sometimes we are given burdens to bear and it is up to us to look at the burden as a blessing to help us grow or wine about it.

We may not always understand the "why". To me, not understanding the why may be part of the burden itself. Again, just another opportunity to grow. I can't help but want to say, there is more to life than just living and dying. We can all know for ourselves whether this is true or not by how our actions make us feel. Do you feel like you are growing as you "repent" of a mistake, trying again with renewed hope, feeling bad for past mistakes, trying to make better what we did wrong to the best of our ability? If you are not sure what I mean, give it a try. Attempt to "repent" and make better what you did wrong and see how it makes you feel. How does it make you feel when you accomplish something hard that you set out to do? Have you ever set out to accomplish something? We can all be achievers in life, accomplishing things makes us feel more complete, messing up on something humbles us and should tell us what we need to work on, overcome, and/or improve. We are all people, the CEO you work for isn't really much different then you. We can all accomplish great things.

With this said, let us be wise with what we learn each and every day. Take what you learn and put put into practice what we feel makes us and those around us happy.

Day Two - Muscle

Do this, do that, don't do this, don't do that. I'm sure you've encounter these type of statements multiple times a day whether you are conscious of them or not. Whether someone verbally commands or ask you or whether they just happen to pop into your head. In the end, you do it or you do not.

Now, after you have taken action, the decision will instantly or gradually result with a powerful affect or it may have felt or may feel there was no affect at all. We all make decisions based upon what we know, how much time we have, and what we have hope in. We may not want to exercise, but some decide to do it anyways because of what they know (benefits vs cons). We may want to play, but some decide not to because of time constraints. We may want to eat out because of this or that, we may want to stay home and eat because of this or that. Maybe we are given a condition that more forcefully makes us do or not do something. In the end, a decision is made.

Decisions that are made where we are in complete control will weaken or strengthen us in a positive or negative direction. Every decision has it's opposite. Light and darkness, joy and pain, happiness and misery, hot and cold, etc. When we make a decision and we honestly feel it is the correct decision, it will build self worth. Symbolically speaking, lifting weights, in spite of the pain and soreness, when the tissue repairs itself though proper nourishment and rest, we gain strength. Can you imagine the empowerment strong people feel? The extra freedom they have to do physical things that others may not be able to do?

Decisions that are made where the decision is basically made for you or in other words, you didn't have any say in the matter, I'll save this topic for another time to discuss.

I'm not done with the current topic of "Muscle", but I'm out of time today.
